Well today is a wonderful day! I have a new granddaughter!! She was born this morning, weighing 9 lbs. 3 oz. and 21" long!! She has a head full of dark hair, is fair and of course is beautiful! Mom and Sarah Leslie are doing wonderfully! Can't believe I'm a grandma of 3 girls!! The twins are so excited about their baby sister!

Hello From Sunny Florida!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
Well I'm in Florida with Kelly and the girls (and Pete too!). It's been beautiful here, went to the park with the girls today. Could definitely get used to this weather! Only thing caught a cold while here, guess not used to the air conditioning. We're awaiting the arrival of my newest granddaughter which we're hoping will be soon! Will post when she arrives!
I've been working on an album for the new baby, nice to have the time to devote to scrapping! Got 7 pages done, a long way to go yet, little bit every day.

Well I posted that I would put up a slide show of the Fold Out Brag Book but I'm having a problem getting it to load. I've tried everything but I'll keep working on it. In the meantime I'll post a couple of pictures here.

Can't believe it's been so long since I've posted. Well the picture a day has gone away, just couldn't keep up with it. But I still carry my camera with me now and have been taking pictures, just haven't posted them. I'll make a slide show one of these days.

Have been working on putting together a class project. Finally approached AC Moore to teach some classes and they were interested!! So now I had to come up with something to teach. Well my first class will be a Fold Out Brag Book. Just finished putting the directions together and took some pictures of the finished book. Happy with the way it came out. Had to use products that they can buy at AC Moore, unfortunately our store doesn't carry that much paper so had to use a K&Co. paper pad. But at least I used as many Fiskars tools as I could!! I'll post a slide show of the pics, see if you can figure out how many tools I used!!

I will be offering my first class in March. I'll be in Florida this month to help my daughter, she's having another baby girl and has 4 yr. old twins. So excited about having another grandbaby, can't wait!! Anyway the sign-up sheet should be available some time this month if you're interested in coming!!

My before picture of my craft room. Got pretty messy during the holidays, became a dumping ground. Have a few things to work on, #1 a new album for my new grandbaby due in February. Have to finish it before I go to Florida to help my daughter with my twin granddaughters who are 4. We're all excited for our new arrival, can't wait. It's another girl, Sarah Leslie and she's due on the 16th. Will have plenty of pics to post when I'm in sunny Florida, can't wait!!

Well this morning I had one of those photo moments and didn't pass it by. While getting off the highway on the way to work I caught the sunrise just beginning. Decided to pull over to get some pictures and this was the result. So glad I did. It looks like the sky was on fire! What a way to start my day!!

Well it's been 3 days since I set up my blog and have done more with playing around with colors and backgrounds than I've done with actual blogging. I've been taking my pictures, haven't downloaded them yet, will do that in a couple of days. Need to get into the habit of picture taking. Saw a couple of opportunities today while driving but didn't stop. Kicking myself because I probobaly won't get that chance again. On the way to the mall saw a bunch of birds (not sure what you call a group of those little black birds that fly together). They were all in a yard washing up in the melting snow and there was snow flying everywhere! It would have been an awesome picture so why didn't I stop??? Need to force myself to not let those opportunities pass by again. Will go by tomorrow to see if I can capture the moment again.

Ok so it's a new year and I've finally done something I've wanted to do for a while now. I started my own blog! Only thing is, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing! Will learn as I go. I also decided to join the 365 club, taking a picture a day for the whole year! Not sure if I'll be able to keep it up but I'll try. Seeing it's already January 2nd and just decided to do this today I'll have to check my pics from New Year's Eve for a picture for yesterday and still haven't taken one today but will do that soon and post them.

So bear with me and if anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way!
